My goal is to help your business succeed.
Design should not only look nice. It is a tool to help you build the business you've always imagined!
Hi! My name is Julia and I am the graphic designer behind Design Half Full. I love to obsess about the details and I'm a sucker for good color theory. For me, success is delighting a client by giving form to their abstract ideas in a way they never imagined.
When I'm not in front of my computer making cool stuff, I am likely finding inspiration in the outdoors - hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding or maybe gardening.
Business cards & staitionary, postcards, mailers, flyers,
Social media profile designs for Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Youtube, and beyond, social media posts, banners for your website, online ad design
Custom design and site setups for template based solutions such as Shopify and Squarespace
Every client should leave me feeling great about their investment. Not only do I want you to be happy with your design, but every file that leaves my computer is also crafted to meet my own high standards, no matter the size of the project, budget or business!
As you can tell by the name of my business, my philosophy can be summed up as a commitment to optimism. On a personal level, it helps me have a happier, more fulfilling experience in this world. As a designer, seeing the positives in the person, product or brand I am working with is an essential part of creating a unique and fitting visual representation that shows my clients in their very best light. I want every one of your customers to see the glass half full when they think about your business!
After receiving a BFA from the University of Connecticut, I got my start in the world of commercial photography and the digital darkroom. Eventually I landed a job marketing for a photography studio, and my passion for graphic design blossomed.
Since opening Design Half Full, I've had the opportunity to work with so many great businesses. Designing for clients from a wide spectrum of industries has really allowed me to stretch my creative muscles and fostered great artistic growth for me as a designer.
